Social Media and Brand Community Manager

  • Part-Time
  • Remote

Job Description:

Overview

We are a growing US kombucha brand focused on expanding awareness through community, ambassador partnerships, local in-store support, and digital brand storytelling. We are looking for a Social Media & Brand Community Coordinator to help execute the day-to-day systems that build awareness and strengthen our grassroots community. This role is less focused on high-level strategy and more on consistent, organized execution—ensuring outreach happens, replies are managed, and social channels remain active.

Work Structure & Requirements

  • Location: Remote.
  • Focus: You will play a major role in scaling our brand ambassador and in-store demo support program in specific US markets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Social Media Management & Scheduling
  • Schedule posts, reels, stories, and recurring brand content to ensure content goes live on time.

  • Maintain social publishing calendars and coordinate content assets provided by the team.

  • Maintain brand and content consistency across Instagram and other relevant social channels.
  1. Community Engagement & Awareness Building
  • Manage daily engagement workflows, including responding to DMs, comments, and community interactions.

  • Proactively engage with creators, local retailers, wellness communities, and aligned brand accounts.

  • Support algorithm-friendly engagement activity to improve brand visibility and reach.

  1. Brand Growth & Ambassador Support
  • Support the expansion of ambassador and local market programs into new US territories.

  • Research potential partnership opportunities, creators, and local community channels.

  • Identify local reps in priority markets and support influencer, affiliate, and demo coordination tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience: Proven background in social media coordination, community management, or influencer outreach.

  • Industry: Experience in CPG, wellness, beverage, or lifestyle brands is a strong plus.

  • Communication: Strong written communication skills with the ability to manage multiple direct messaging conversations.

  • Organization: Highly organized and process-oriented; comfortable following pre-built systems.

  • Tools: Proficiency with Instagram, Meta tools, social schedulers, and Google Workspace.

What Success Looks Like

  • Ambassador and demo outreach happens consistently and sourcing targets are met in priority markets.

  • Social channels remain active, organized, and community-led.

  • The founder is successfully removed from day-to-day social execution.

  • Awareness increases through strong grassroots engagement and a scalable ambassador program.
